Weekly from 7.30pm

Come and join our friendly weekly pub quiz - just £1 entry which raises money for a charity of the quiz master's choice each week. Fancy playing quiz master yourself? Then just speak to a member of pub team and put your name down - we'll even provide you with a set of questions to use - or you can create your own!

Wednesday 17th April 7-10pm

You are invited to bring your own records down or just drop in and listen to the tracks already being played - all with the atmospheric crackle that only vinyl can offer. And entry is free!

Third Wednesday of each month  2-4pm

An opportunity for those looking after loved ones suffering from memory loss to meet, chat and share their experiences and offer each other support. It's informal, completely free and your first cup of tea or coffee is on the house. No need to book - just drop in

Dartboard Bullseye


Weekly from 3pm

On a Thursday the pub sets up a dart board in the Corner Room from 3pm onwards for anyone who wants to throw a few arrows.  You are welcome to borrow darts from behind the bar and play until 7pm if there is a home match scheduled or all evening if no match is taking place. 



Thursday 25th April 7.15pm

Charlotte is back for a special spring style evening where she will be looking at:

  • Spring trends - what's worth investing in next season (& what isn't)

  • How to elevate an outfit

  • Fashion resurrection (details to be emailed upon booking)


Tickets are just £15 (including a glass of prosecco)

Fish and Chips


Saturday 27th April 5.30-8.30pm

We have the amazing Cambridge Fish Bar bringing their food van to the pub for the evening and serving a delicious menu of Fish & Chips, Salt & Pepper Squid & Chips and Halloumi Fries & Chips. Come and enjoy with a pint or two!

Every Wednesday 7.30-close

The local bridge club meet to play at The Royal Oak each Wednesday (except on Vinyl Nights). All abilities - learners and experienced players - are welcome.
